The Gospel & Salvation examines the apostolic proclamation of Jesus Christ and the appointed response by which sinners enter the saving work of God. This category traces the gospel as the good news of Christ’s death, burial, resurrection, exaltation, and lordship, and studies how the apostles called hearers to respond through faith, repentance, confession, baptism, forgiveness, reception of the Spirit, and a life of obedient discipleship. Its aim is to distinguish the biblical gospel from later reductions, recover the apostolic pattern of salvation, and test every doctrine of conversion by the witness of Scripture.
